HABLA is a club at La Porte High School that was founded over 30 years ago. The acronym HABLA stands for Hispanics Advocating Better Lives and Attitudes. Club membership is open to all students, not just Hispanics, and you don't have to speak Spanish to be a member. HABLA offers its member’s community service opportunities, and all active members that graduate and are enrolled at an accredited school of higher learning are eligible to receive the HABLA Grant and Cord.
